Collaborative working: "People working jointly on an activity or project to achieve a common goal. Especially where this involves co-operation between several teams, departments and/or different organisations to achieve an agreed objective."
The Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) Australia's goal is to become the premier organisation supporting the development and growth of collaborative working practices domestically and globally. Examples of collaborative working practices include the application of best practice joint governance, management, systems, and processes.
ICW Australia is a not-for-profit member organisation aligned with ICW internationally to support the development of the collaborative working community of practice and grow the collaborative working body of knowledge.
It provides organisations a forum to share ideas and resources for developing effective business relationships. Through accredited practitioners, ICW Australia provides training, including for organisations seeking to implement ISO 44001- the Collaborative Business Relationship Framework standard.
