About the event
You are invited to a ICW Australia In Conversation webinar at 12pm Wednesday 18 May. In this webinar we will hear from Brett Ackroyd, ICW Australia’s Managing Director, and Josh Choong, Director of ICW Australia.
In this webinar Brett and Josh will provide an overview of what ICWA has achieved since its launch, and how we plan to bring collaborative working into the consciousness of business, government and industry by building our community of practice in Australia.
The Australian arm of the Institute for Collaborative Working was launched in August of 2021 when much of the world was in lockdown. Since then we have continued to grow, with a thriving community of practice, training courses, two executive network members and more in the pipeline, and a schedule of monthly webinars to occur over the coming year.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
Brett Ackroyd is a former commercial lawyer and now business owner and consultant, with a background in designing organisations and significant government procurements. He was inspired to establish the Institute in Australia after repeatedly seeing challenges (even failure) in complex projects when the collaborative working was not applied – and how extraordinary the results could be when it was applied as a business discipline.
Joshua Choong is a consultant with significant experience in delivering complex procurement and contracting initiatives. He has worked across large projects in the Defence and technology sectors, with a focus on implementing innovative processes across multiple business units. Over this time he has also seen challenges in emerge in complex projects, as well as the benefits of collaborative working in delivering effective commercial solutions across complex and dynamic business environments.
