About the event
You are invited to the next in our lunchtime webinar series on collaborative working at 12pm Thursday 23 June 2022. This webinar will be a break in the usual transmission to tell our community of practice about some research we are about to begin.
The Directors of the Institute for Collaborative Working, Brett Ackroyd and Josh Choong, will be going on the road to conduct a series of roundtables on ‘The State of Collaborative Working as a Business Discipline in Australia’ to inform our research. This research activity is being conducted in partnership with our friends at BSI and the University of Adelaide Business School, and our valued Network Members.
We will have firm dates, times and locations soon, but they will be taking place in July and August. So, come along and hear about what they have planned.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
Brett Ackroyd is a former commercial lawyer and now business owner and consultant, with a background in designing organisations and significant government procurements. He was inspired to establish the Institute in Australia after repeatedly seeing challenges (even failure) in complex projects when the collaborative working was not applied – and how extraordinary the results could be when it was applied as a business discipline.
Joshua Choong is a consultant with significant experience in delivering complex procurement and contracting initiatives. He has worked across large projects in the Defence and technology sectors, with a focus on implementing innovative processes across multiple business units. Over this time he has also seen challenges in emerge in complex projects, as well as the benefits of collaborative working in delivering effective commercial solutions across complex and dynamic business environments.
