About the event

Weaving a net is better than praying for fish’ is presented by ICW Australia’s newest capability provider, David Pender of Knowledge Perspectives. David will share his insights and experience on how small to medium enterprises have successfully bid for large contracts by working collaboratively together to harness all of their resources and strengths. Using the ISO44001 standard as a basis, David will outline how the business discipline of collaborative working has successfully allowed SMEs to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

David Pender is a Principal of Knowledge Perspectives, a consulting collaborative that specialises in the management and development of knowledge intensive organisations. He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Adelaide Business School, and prior to that had a long career in the finance industry: in private practice as a chartered accountant and in senior executive positions in the financial services industry.
