ICW Australia has two key membership options. They allow organisations and individuals to join the growing global community of practice in collaborative working and contribute to the expansion of knowledge and discipline in the field.
Through its global connections, ICW Australia provides thought leadership and support for the development and implementation of collaborative working standards including ISO 44001- the Collaborative Business Relationship Framework standard.
Our Executive Network
These are the leaders in the Collaborative Working community and support ICWAustralia in improving and expanding the Collaborative Working Community.
Founding Executive Network Member
Babcock Australasia joined the Institute for Collaborative Working Australia as our inaugural Executive Network Member in August 2021.
Babcock is driving collaborative working across industry as part of a cultural approach to delivering complex programs and solutions through transparency, mutual support and shared benefits.
Our relationship with them builds upon Babcock International Group’s founding membership of the global Institute for Collaborative Working – formed in the United Kingdom in 1990 – and it combines Babcock’s corporate experience of collaboration across its value-chain, with the domain leadership of the ICW.
Together, we will work to achieve our core vision of being the home of collaboration, where good practice is shared and supported with research, experience and training, and building a global community which recognises the development of skills and knowledge of collaborative working practices.

Ventia is one of the largest essential infrastructure services providers in Australia and New Zealand and have a proven track recording in achieving outcomes for clients through successful collaborative working. As a company they emphasise client focus, innovation and commitment to sustainability, and these three priorities align well with collaborative working as a business discipline, as they keep people at the centre of success. We look forward to working with Ventia to leverage the benefits of collaborative working in Australia and welcome them as thought-leaders to our community of practice.
The Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) Australia’s goal is to become the premier organisation in Australia supporting the development and growth of collaborative working practices in Australia and globally.
It is a not-for-profit member organisation aligned with ICW globally to support the development of the collaborative working community of practice and grow the collaborative working body of knowledge.
ICW Australia provides a forum for the sharing of ideas and resources on building effective business relationships. Through accredited practitioners, ICW Australia offers training, including for organisations seeking to implement ISO 44001- the Collaborative Business Relationship Framework standard.
